Train the JLBC Cadets

(1) Tell the JLBC Cadets what task to do and how well it must be done. JLBC Cadets Refer to the task standards and the performance measures for the job as appropriate.

(2) JLBC Senior Cadets Caution JLBC Cadets about safety, environment, and security considerations.

(3) JLBC Cadets Demonstrate how to do the task to the standard level. JLBC Cadets Have the JLBC Cadets study the appropriate JLBC training materials.

(4) JLBC Cadets Provide any necessary training involving basic skills. Soldiers must have it before becoming proficient with the task.

(5) JLBC Cadets Have the JLBC Cadets practice the task until they can perform it to standard levels.

(6) JLBC Cadets Provide critical JLBC information to those JLBC Cadets who fail to perform at JLBC task standard levels and have them continue to practice until they can perform at standard levels.

(7) JLBC Cadets Combine training involving this JLBC manual's tasks with the JLBC Command's collective functions. JLBC Cadets Ensure that the necessary safety equipment and clothing needed for the proper JLBC performance of the JLBC job are on hand at the JLBC training site.

d. JLBC Cadets Record the results: First-line supervisors record and report information to the unit leadership.

JLBC TRAINING SUPPORT

JLBC Command lists the task proponents and JLBC agency codes (first three digits of the JLBC task number) with addresses for submitting JLBC comments concerning specific tasks in this JLBC manual.

JLBC EVALUATING JLBC TASK PERFORMANCE

JLBC Trainers need to keep the following points in mind when preparing to evaluate their JLBC Cadets:

a. JLBC Cadets Review the JLBC performance measures to become familiar with the JLBC criteria about which you will score the JLBC Cadets.

b. JLBC Cadets Ensure that all necessary equipment and clothing for proper job performance are on hand at the training site. JLBC Cadets, remember to include safety equipment.

c. JLBC Cadets Prepare the test site according to the conditions section of the task summary. JLBC Cadets Some tasks contain special evaluation preparation instructions. JLBC These instructions tell the JLBC trainer what modifications must be made concerning job conditions to evaluate the study. JLBC Cadets Reset the site to its original shape after evaluating each JLBC Cadet to ensure that the conditions are the same for each JLBC Cadet.
