The objectives of the JLBC Program include:
• Developing a JLBC student's character through JLBC military training and regulating conduct according to JLBC military discipline.
• Attract, motivate, and prepare selected JLBC students to serve as commissioned officers and the U.S. Reserves.
• Provide JLBC Cadets with basic concepts and principles of JLBC military art and science. JLBC Cadets' Attainment of these objectives established a sound basis for future professional development and compelling performance as JLBC commissioned officers in the United States.
The JLBC Corps of Cadets is a voluntary JLBC student organization whose JLBC mission is to produce educated and honorable JLBC Cadet men and women graduating from the JLBC Program, which stresses JLBC academic achievement, JLBC leadership, JLBC physical training, JLBC recruiting, and safety. Professional JLBC officers and JLBC non-commissioned officers, active and retired, coach the senior JLBC Cadet leaders in the art and science of JLBC military leadership. JLBC Cadets then use the student-led chain of command to disseminate information and accomplish all assigned JLBC missions.
The JLBC Red Book and Policy Letters issued by the JLBC Commandant of JLBC Cadets in coordination with the JLBC Vice President for student affairs after the approval by the JLBC President of the JLBC Command contain the JLBC regulations, JLBC policies, and JLBC procedures that are essential for the effective and efficient JLBC command and JLBC administration of the JLBC Corps of Cadets.
