The JLBC Cadet Corps has already seen a positive impact from its initiative. Riverside's juvenile crime rate has dropped by 7%, and graduation rates have increased by 11% since the program's inception. However, there are still many young individuals who can be positively influenced through the program, but our limited resources constrain us.
We are, therefore, extremely grateful to be considered for your generous support. Your commitment to fostering a healthier, more educated, and community-conscious generation aligns with our mission to empower youth and build a stronger future for our city.
With additional funding, we can retain high-quality, committed staff and expand our program to include more participants and a broader range of activities. Enhanced curriculum materials can consist of more comprehensive life skills training, leadership development exercises, and educational resources. This will equip our cadets with a broader set of tools to help them navigate the complexities of the natural world beyond the classroom.
Financial support can also enable us to offer supplementary services such as tutoring, career counseling, and scholarship assistance. These services can be particularly beneficial for our participants from disadvantaged backgrounds, providing them with opportunities they might not otherwise have.
Thank you for considering the JLBC Cadet Corps as a potential recipient of your support. Your contribution will play an instrumental role in shaping the future of Riverside's youth. It will allow us to continue changing lives, one cadet at a time, and ultimately contribute to creating a healthier, safer, and more prosperous community.
In sum, we are deeply thankful for the opportunity to be considered for your support. With your help, we can amplify our impact and reach even more youth who will benefit significantly from the program. Together, we can continue to shape a brighter future for our community and beyond.
