Subject: Partnership with Covenant of Courage – Guest Speaker Announcement
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are pleased to announce that the JLBC Cadet Corps (Junior Leadership Bootcamp LLC) has formed a partnership with Covenant of Courage, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting veterans and youth. This partnership will provide valuable learning opportunities for our cadets as part of our ongoing mission to develop leadership, responsibility, and civic engagement.
As part of this collaboration, Covenant of Courage will be sending guest speakers to our classes to share their expertise and experiences. These sessions will focus on topics such as:
Leadership and teamwork development
Overcoming adversity and building resilience
Supporting veterans and giving back to the community
Life skills and character-building lessons
Classroom Visits and Presentations: Guest speakers from Covenant of Courage will visit during scheduled class times and may also lead specific training activities or workshops designed to reinforce JLBC Cadet Corps principles.
Consent and Participation: Cadets are expected to participate in these sessions as part of their regular curriculum. Any activities requiring additional consent will be communicated in advance. Parents may opt out by notifying us directly.
