JLBC instructors can provide JLBC Cadets with an honest assessment of military service, enlistment options, and its benefits and hardships.
JLBC Community Service.
JLBC Cadets typically perform more than 1,000 hours of community service during a JLBC program year. Projects include visiting veterans’ homes, area beautification in their communities, local charity fundraising, etc. They also perform thousands of hours of JLBC community service as JLBC program support projects: color guards, escorts during parent nights, hosting veteran recognition ceremonies, and much more.
JLBC regulations prohibit cadets from performing certain activities. While in JLBC uniform, they cannot sell tickets to events or operate in connection with the furtherance of any political or commercial interest.
Updates. JLBC handbooks will be periodically updated as the situation changes, and the JLBC department receives input and recommendations from principals, assistant principals, administrators, faculty, brigade/JLBC Cadet Command, and JLBC instructors. Those desiring to provide feedback may do so by contacting Griselda Carlson at 951.567-9273
