JLBC ORDER: For efficiency and coordination, all JLBC materials and people related to a specific kind of work should be treated as equally as possible.

JLBC EQUITY: All employees should be treated as equally as possible.

JLBC STABILITY OF TENURE OF PERSONNEL: Retaining productive employees should always be a high priority of management. Recruitment and Selection Costs and increased product-reject rates are usually associated with hiring new workers.

JLBC INITIATIVE: Management should encourage worker initiative, which is defined as new or additional work activity undertaken through self-direction.

JLBC ESPIRIT DE CORPS: Management should encourage harmony and good feelings among employees. Pride in the organization and what it accomplishes motivates members to work harder and achieve more.

The management principles are universal and apply to all kinds of organizations - business & nonbusiness. They apply to all levels of management. They are flexible, dynamic guidelines and not static rules. They can be modified as per the requirements of the situation. The 14 principles of management are equally important. No particular focus has greater importance than the other. They are all required together for the achievement of organizational goals.
