
APPLICATION AND CONTRACT FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF A JUNIOR LEADERSHIP BOOTCAMP AND JLBC CADET CORPS UNIT

This application is made under the provisions outlined by the JLBC Directorate.
CONTINGENT AGREEMENT
Upon the acceptance of this application, and conditioned upon the mutual fulfillment of obligations outlined in Section 2, the JLBC Directorate agrees to:
Establish a JLBC Unit at the school named above.
Assign or approve certified personnel as deemed necessary to administer the program effectively.
Provide access to approved instructional materials and resources, as authorized by the JLBC Directorate.
Furnish equipment and resources necessary for the conduct of the program, based on available funding and program priorities.
SECTION 2: RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SCHOOL
In return for the establishment and ongoing support of the JLBC program, the school agrees to the following:
Academic Credit
Provide appropriate academic credit toward graduation for successful completion of JLBC courses.
Program Structure
Establish the JLBC unit as a single-unit program or as part of a multiple-unit system.
Structure the program as a three-year or four-year curriculum based on school policy and student needs.
Facilities and Resources
Allocate necessary classrooms, administrative offices, equipment storage, drill areas, and utilities to support JLBC activities.
Provide access to telecommunications and internet services for program administration.
Personnel Requirements
Employ and compensate certified JLBC instructors in accordance with applicable policies.
Ensure liability insurance coverage for JLBC instructors and cadets during program activities, matching coverage provided to other staff and students.
Cadet Enrollment
Maintain enrollment of at least 100 physically fit cadets or 10% of the eligible student population above 7th grade, whichever is less.
Policies and Standards
Adhere to nondiscrimination policies regarding race, religion, gender, marital status, and other protected categories.
Enforce professional standards for instructors, including adherence to physical fitness and uniform regulations.
Property Accountability
Appoint a Property Specialist responsible for the accountability and maintenance of all JLBC property issued to the school.
Evaluation and Compliance
Support instructor evaluations and participate in quality assessments conducted by the JLBC Directorate.
Comply with all JLBC policies and regulations governing program operations.
SECTION 3: MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING
Effective Date
This contract becomes effective upon written notification from the JLBC Directorate approving the establishment of the unit.
Termination
The contract may be terminated by:
Mutual agreement of both parties.
One-year written notice by either party.
Probationary action, as determined by JLBC regulations, if enrollment or compliance requirements are not met.
Supersession
This agreement supersedes any prior agreements between the school and the JLBC Directorate.
