This program blends outdoor survival skills with California history, providing hands-on learning experiences and practical knowledge. Students will explore California's diverse landscapes, discover how indigenous peoples and pioneers thrived, and develop essential survival techniques such as shelter building, fire-starting, and water purification. Emphasizing leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving, the course fosters confidence and resilience in outdoor settings. Through engaging activities and simulations, students will build real-world skills while connecting with the history and natural beauty of Southern California.
