The US Military Combat Fitness Test (CFT) is a physical fitness evaluation used by military organizations to assess the physical capability of their personnel. In the Junior Leader Bootcamp Course (JLBC) Cadet Corps and military, the CFT is an integral part of their training regimen. It measures an individual's ability to perform the physical demands of combat.

The CFT is a multi-event test that measures strength, endurance, and agility. It consists of three events: the Deadlift, the Sprint-Drag-Carry, and the Movement to Contact. The Deadlift requires an individual to lift a weight from the ground to standing, testing their upper body strength. The Sprint-Drag-Carry tests an individual's speed and upper body endurance as they must sprint, drag a sled, and carry ammunition cans. The Movement to Contact tests an individual's agility and perseverance as they overcome obstacles and maintain weight.

The CFT is designed to be a realistic simulation of the physical demands of combat. It measures an individual's ability to perform tasks commonly required in action, such as lifting and carrying heavy loads, running, and maneuvering through obstacles. By completing the CFT, military personnel can demonstrate their physical readiness for combat and identify areas they need to improve.

In the JLBC Cadet Corps, the CFT is an integral part of the training program. Cadets are expected to participate in the CFT and strive to improve their scores. The CFT is used to assess cadets' physical fitness and provide feedback on their progress. In addition to measuring physical fitness, the CFT also helps to build team spirit and camaraderie among cadets, as they support each other in their efforts to improve their scores.

In conclusion, the Combat Fitness Test is an integral part of the training regimen in the JLBC Cadet Corps and military. It measures an individual's physical capability and provides a realistic simulation of the physical demands of combat. The CFT helps to ensure that military personnel are physically ready for action and provides feedback on their progress. By participating in the CFT, military personnel can demonstrate their physical fitness and build team spirit among their peers.
