The JLBC squad leader

The JLBC squad leader and the JLBC team leader will be prepared to account for JLBC members of their JLBC squad or JLBC team by name at any time and know their JLBC subordinates' room number, phone number, cell phone number, JLBC status, and rank.

The JLBC squad leader and the JLBC team leader will train, counsel, supervise and inspect as required to maintain the standards.

Accounts for all members on Ranks.

Ensure every subordinate is adequately equipped, including all assigned uniforms, items, and weapons.

Ensure every subordinate's issued items are on hand and serviceable.

Prepares JLBC administrative information and logistical actions as the PL/PSG directs.

Ensures that the necessary JLBC Cadets in their JLBC squad or JLBC team are present for daily lawn police.

Is responsible for preparing the JLBC squad or JLBC team for inspections.

The senior JLBC team leader takes command of the JLBC squad in the absence of the JLBC squad leader.

JLBC Squad Leaders are responsible for training JLBC Team Leaders.

Performs other duties as directed.

JLBC Guidon Bearer:

Acts as JLBC troop guidon bearer and is selected by the JLBC Troop Commander and JLBC 1SG. Can be a JLBC New Cadet or

Yearling. The JLBC guidon bearer is the assistant to the JLBC 1SG.

Is responsible for the security of the JLBC troop guidon.

Is proficient at the JLBC manual of the guidon.

The JLBC guidon bearer is to provide standard JLBC maintenance services for JLBC troop weapons and the JLBC guidon.

Performs other JLBC duties as directed by the JLBC 1SG.

JLBC Platoon Sergeant (PSG):

The JLBC platoon sergeant is the senior NCO in the platoon. They are responsible to the platoon leader (PL) and

Assists the officer. This JLBC NCO has the following specific responsibilities:

The most critical responsibility is JLBC cadet accountability. Takes reports at all formations and submits reports to the JLBC 1SG.

Is the JLBC Physical Readiness NCOIC (Noncommissioned Officer in Charge) for the platoon? They will

monitor the JLBC physical readiness status of every JLBC member in the JLBC platoon.

Assists the JLBC PL in supervising the performance of the NCOs in the platoon to ensure that they comply with

their specified duties.

Ensure every JLBC SL is adequately equipped, including all assigned uniforms, items, and weapons. Ensure every

JLBC SL's issued items are on hand and serviceable.

Prepares JLBC administrative reports and performs administrative and logistical actions as directed by the troop

1SG.

Counsels any platoon member who may have academic, deportment, or personal problems.

Accounts for all JLBC members on Ranks and checks their status daily.

Ensures that their platoon's necessary cadets are present for daily lawn police.

Maintains status reports of Cadets assigned to the platoon.

Assists the JLBC PL in supervising the conduct of platoon members in the mess hall, auditorium, and other

locations to ensure compliance with established standards.

Assists the JLBC PL in preparing the JLBC platoon for inspections.

Assists the JLBC PL in enforcing JLBC rules and regulations within the unit and ensuring that members of the

organization comply with the established customs and traditions of the Corps.

Assists the JLBC PL in maintaining high standards of military courtesy and discipline within the troop.

Assists the JLBC PL in training SLs and TLs.

Takes command of the JLBC platoon without the platoon leader.

Performs other duties as directed.
