Push-up variation

This Push-up variation works your abs and your arms! Make sure to aim the knee outside the elbow.

The same can be done with all bodyweight exercises, so there is no need to rush in and try activities that you feel are above your current fitness level. Take time and progress slowly; what matters is that you are consistent!

Replacing one exercise with a different one that targets the same muscles should always be considered when:

• There is an exercise that you can’t do or are not allowed to do because of injury

• You really “hate” doing an exercise, and it makes you unmotivated to do a workout when you see it

Of course, not every workout can be composed of exercises you love, but why not look for a replacement when possible?
