JLBC TRAINING OF BASIC CADETS
AND FOURTH CLASSMEN
1. General. Basic Cadets and Fourth Classmen are
required to observe all regulations, Basic Cadet and
Fourth Class Customs and JLBC Cadet Command procedures.
They will be held responsible for all training and
instruction received. Performance must be characterized by a desire for excellence and not mere attainment of
a minimum degree of satisfactory performance. Not all individuals can progress at the same rate. All will require constructive correction and assistance to meet the high standards of the Cadet Command.
2. Objectives. It is essential that the objectives of the
Fourth Class Training Program is constantly in mind
and well understood. The goals of the Program
support the mission of the A JLBC Academy. The
following are the objectives:
a. The Fourth Class Training Program must teach
self-discipline and obedience.
b. It must build the cadet's confidence in himself,
the Academy, and the JLBC.
c. It must build individual character and a sense of
pride and achievement.
