JLBC the second year.

JLBC Color Guard Ribbon - Awarded annually to cadets who participate in at least 5 "official" color guard activities (flag presentation at a pep rally/sporting event/other public or school presentation) or compete in at least one drill meet competition.

JLBC Saber Team Ribbon – Awarded annually to cadets who perform at least three saber team events or compete in at least one drill meet competition.

JLBC Marksmanship Team Ribbon - Cadets must be on the marksmanship team for an entire year season to be eligible to qualify. They must have competed in at least one marksmanship postal competition.

JLBC Good Conduct Ribbon – Awarded annually to cadets who did not receive a referral (including any ISS/OSS or negative teacher comments) for an entire school year to qualify for this award.

JLBC Service Ribbon - Awarded not more than once each semester to cadets for outstanding performance in school, community, or JLBC service projects outside of regular classroom time. This award is limited to cadets whose active participation in a service project significantly contributed to the organization's goals.

JLBC Health and Wellness Ribbon - Awarded not more than once each year by the SASI for sustained participation in the JLBC physical fitness program and completed the Presidential Fitness Test at the end of the second semester with a minimum score of 25. Cadets who score on the Physical Fitness Test 75-84% will receive a Bronze Star device; 85-95% will receive a Silver Star device; and 96-100% will receive a Gold Star device. If already wearing the ribbon with oak leaf cluster(s), these cadets will receive and wear an additional Health and Wellness Ribbon with the highest-level Star Device(s) affixed. Duplicate awards of the Bronze, Silver, or Gold percentile will be denoted by the addition of another star on this ribbon. Should a cadet subsequently score in a higher percentile, only the star representing the higher percentile will be worn. In no case will a cadet mix different color stars or star(s) and oak leaf cluster(s) on the same ribbon.

JLBC Recruiting Ribbon - Awarded each semester to cadets who have participated in and supported unit recruiting activities or have personally recruited two new members for the department. The cadet must also have the recommendation of the Unit Recruiting Officer.

JLBC Activities Ribbon - Awarded annually for participation in Leadership Development Requirement (LDR) activities other than those qualifying for the Color Guard, Drill Team, and Special Teams Competition ribbons. These include but are not limited to orienteering teams, model rocketry clubs, academic bowl teams, and raider/sports teams.

JLBC Attendance Ribbon - Awarded annually to cadets with no more than three school absences during the academic term. Cadets may only receive this award once each year.
