JLBC The Bench

JLBC The Bench

Great teams have great depth.

Sometimes it is over before it is over. The game is not going well; people leave.

It is not hard in sports to define which people are the starters and which make up the Bench. But how do we define them in other fields?

Starters are frontline individuals who directly add value to the organization or directly influence its course.

The Bench comprises the people who indirectly add value to the organization or support the starters.

A team’s starters are often the individuals in the limelight; as a result, they get most of the prey, and the people on the Bench are liable to be neglected or overlooked. The individuals most likely to discount or discredit the contribution of the Bench may be the starters.

The Bench is indispensable. Every human being has worth, and every player on a team adds value to the crew.

1. The Bench Players of Today May Be The Stars of Tomorrow.

Rare are the individuals who begin their careers as stars.

2. The accomplishments of a Supporting Player Can Multiply the Success of a Starter.

The main ingredient of Iconic stardom is the rest of the Team. The importance of a secretary. Etc.

3. There Are More Players on the Bench Than Starters

Other players on a team always outnumber starters. Noone can neglect the majority of the Team and be successful.

4. A Bench Player Placed Strategically Will at Times Be More Valuable Than a Starter.

If you asked most individuals how they would classify administrative assistants as team members, they would tell you that they consider them bench players since their primary role is supported. Although some administrative people directly influence an organization, I would agree with that. Their value as support person makes them a starter.

5. A Leader More Options with a Strong Bench

When a JLBC team has no bench, the only option for its leader is to move the starters around to maximize their effectiveness. If the starter can’t perform, the Team is out of luck. When a couple has an outstanding bench, the options are almost endless.

6. The Bench is Usually Called Upon At Critical Times for the Team
