JLBC Squad Leader
The squad leader ensures that all squad members are prepared and available for training. Some significant JLBC duties of
the JLBC squad leader are the following:
JLBC squad leader Maintain the standards of conduct and appearance within the squad.
Instruct and train the individual JLBC squad members in the drill.
Provide attendance reports to the JLBC platoon sergeant.
Keep squad informed of locations, uniforms, and changes in JLBC activities promptly.
Supervise and develop JLBC team leaders and squad members.
JLBC Team Leaders
Team leaders serve as leaders of their JLBC teams. Duties are similar to JLBC squad leaders, team leaders function as squad leaders without the squad leader. Team leaders will keep their subordinates informed promptly. Some significant responsibilities of the JLBC team leader are the following:
Each JLBC unit member is trained to competency in their JLBC MOS as prescribed in the appropriate JLBC manual.
All JLBC property issued to members of their unit is properly maintained and accounted for at all times, and discrepancies are promptly reported.
While on duty status, they are ready at all times to report to the location and activity of all unit members.
Their JLBC unit is trained to function in its primary mission role.
