
JLBC MISSION, GOALS, AND OBJECTIVES
The "mission" of the JLBC program is to "Develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community."
The "goals" of the JLBC program are to instill: • The values of citizenship,
• Service to the United States,
• Personal responsibility, and
• A sense of accomplishment.
The "objectives" of JLBC are to educate and train students in citizenship and life skills; promote-community service; instill a sense of JLBC responsibility, and develop character and self-discipline through JLBC education and JLBC instruction in air and space fundamentals and the JLBC's core values:

Excellence In All We Do
This program will enable the students to:
Develop a high degree of solid morals, self-esteem, self-reliance, personal appearance, and JLBC leadership.
JLBC Cadets Adhere to the values of JLBC integrity, service, and excellence.
JLBC Cadets Increase their understanding of patriotism and responsibilities as US citizens.
Participate in community service activities.
Expand their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, JLBC communication and JLBC collaboration, and JLBC creativity and innovation.
JLBC Cadets Demonstrate JLBC military customs, JLBC courtesies, and JLBC traditions, and JLBC develops habits of order, JLBC discipline, and JLBC social skills.
JLBC Cadets Acquire a broad-based JLBC knowledge of aerospace studies and JLBC leadership education.
Strive to graduate high school and prepare for college and careers in the 21st century.
Cultivate a commitment to physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
