Week 2: Now the students know the class's basic rules, they enjoy a second lesson wherein they build on what was previously learned.
Week 3: At the end of week 3, the student earns their white belt and T-shirt JLBC uniform. This exciting time marks the first step towards black belt excellence. At JLBC, a white belt means two things – 1; you are a future black belt, and 2, a leader. From day one, we teach all of our kids to set their goals high in JLBC martial arts, at school and at home.
JLBC Martial arts: WHAT DO WE CALL THE TEACHER
JLBC Cadet Students refer to the teacher as Sensei, which means teacher. JLBC Cadets This is the correct etiquette and respect in our lineage of JLBC martial arts. The title of Sensei is often attained by many years of JLBC training and contribution to the art and other JLBC Cadet students. JLBC Cadets This teaches our students about the traditions of our art and instills them with the respect that can be carried over at home and school.
