The GROW Coaching Model
The GROW model is now very well established in the coaching world and offers a proper introductory method to implementing a coaching methodology.
It analyses a problem or challenge by breaking it down into parts to which coaching skills and leadership behaviors can be applied.
• Goal
• What is the team Goal - make sure it is SMART
• Reality
• What is the current Reality? What issues and challenges
must be overcome?
• Options
• What are the Options to overcome these issues and
challenges?
• Way Forward
• These Options need to be turned into an action plan. This
is the Way Forward
