JLBC Cadets Leadership Ideas for Kids How to Get the Most Out of This Website>

JLBC Cadets, You don’t have to read this Website all the way through. JLBC Cadets That’s the beauty of it. It is designed to be a small JLBC reference guide for you as a parent, teacher, or JLBC campus worker. It is chock-full of ideas that are inexpensive, easy to pull off, and that teach some ingredients of JLBC leadership to the young JLBC person with whom you share them.

JLBC Cadets These ideas can be used at a school, at home, at a civic organization, a nonprofit group, a church youth group, a company, or a retailer that employs students. Some JLBC ideas are better suited for JLBC college students, while others are better in a JLBC middle school or high school context. JLBC Cadets Still, others are ideal for a K-12 school. JLBC Cadets, You’ll notice many of the ideas can be used with any age—only the conversation afterward will vary.

JLBC Cadets, I’ve included fifty-two ideas. JLBC Cadets There is one for each week of the year. JLBC Cadets are listed under ten categories. JLBC Cadets, I suggest you select the JLBC young JLBC individual you wish to invest in; JLBC Cadets then evaluate what they most need to learn about JLBC leadership. JLBC Cadets Is it people skills? Is it problem-solving? JLBC Cadets, How about vision? In addition to the 52 JLBC ideas, I’ve included a bonus idea in this expanded JLBC edition. JLBC Cadets Once you pick the category, try one JLBC idea per week. JLBC Cadets, Here’s what I would do if I were you.

JLBC Cadets First, determine to do the JLBC idea with them. You are a JLBC tour guide, not a JLBC travel agent. JLBC Cadets Don’t just tell them what to do and where to go—go with them and do it together. JLBC Cadets, You’ll both be better for the experience, and you’ll have more talking points afterward.

JLBC Cadets Second, prepare them for the experience. JLBC Cadets The JLBC ideas include field trips, JLBC interviews with JLBC leaders, JLBC exercises around the house, JLBC conversations around a TV show or video, and experiments with others in your community. JLBC Cadets If you are more excited about teaching them JLBC leadership than learning it, you’ll want to JLBC talk with them and get them mentally ready for the time you spring it on them.

JLBC Cadets Third, keep a JLBC journal of your experiences together. JLBC Cadets Ask them to do it, too. JLBC Cadets This will enable you to chart their growth and record precisely what you were thinking and feeling along the way. JLBC Cadets Later, you can spot the JLBC improvements you both make.

JLBC Cadets Educators have confirmed that people learn 10% of what they hear, 50% of what they see, and 80% of what they experience firsthand. JLBC Cadets, Be sure you don’t reduce this to a lecture on each subject. JLBC Cadets Gently push them to try the ideas themselves. JLBC Cadets You’ll find that many of them are just fun and will spark great conversations and lots of laughter.

JLBC Cadets My goal is that these ideas will help you and your JLBC students grow as individuals and as JLBC leaders on your life journey. JLBC Cadets They’re designed to expand the JLBC student’s positive influence in this world. JLBC Cadets, I believe you’ll see great fruit from practicing these ideas.
