JLBC End-of-Course Critique. The JLBC course director should have JLBC Cadets and staff complete an end-of-course critique. The JLBC course director and their top assistants should review the comments to learn how to improve the JLBC course next time.
JLBC Curriculum Suggestions. JLBC Course directors are encouraged to send their comments and suggestions about the JLBC program to their director of JLBC cadet programs and National Headquarters.
The JLBC course director may want to present awards to outstanding JLBC cadets to motivate JLBC cadets to excel. Some possible JLBC awards are listed below. The type and number of JLBC awards presented should be determined locally, depending on the number of students and cadet cadre participating.
• Most Outstanding Performance in Drill
• Highest Score – Written Exam
• Most Outstanding Performance in Physical Fitness
• Honor JLBC Cadet
• Most Outstanding Instructor (JLBC cadet cadre)
After JLBC, course directors should report their graduating JLBC Cadets and participating staff to JLBC Headquarters using JLBC reporting. Although a JLBC report is not required, the information will aid in monitoring the effectiveness of the JLBC program. Also, JLBC Headquarters will update the members’ records to show they graduated from or served on staff at JLBC and send the JLBC unit a certificate recognizing them for successfully hosting a JLBC.
