GAME IDEA
You can time them going through a bit of an obstacle course (you can count out loud), and the winner gets two stamps. Let them all try two times if you have enough time!
PROPS
Please give them a sticker for the top of their shirt near their neck and have them touch their chin to it whenever they do a forward roll!

SAFETY TIP
Always land (or pass-through) safety position when doing a FORWARD roll (not ninja roll) to keep your nose safe! “You guys look great the way you are; let’s keep it that way!”

JLBC Cadets Use proper manners at home and in public.
JLBC Discussion: Can you give me an example of using proper manners at home? What about while in public?
SUGGESTED LESSON PLANS
• Horizontal wall run (shoot for one step and a safe landing) • Forward roll down wedge to the safety position
• Ricochet with ricochet mats
• Safety falls with a stand up (no hands)
• You can also set ricochet mats up next to each other halfway through and have them run across them!
• Turn Vault
• Cart progression
• Front support and forward roll-over bar (with help)
• Feet on the mat, straight body pull-ups
• Wall sit! Shins vertical, thighs horizontal, back on wall • Handstand progression (on the floor)
• Forward roll on the wedge to safety position (on the floor)
• Run down the low beam and jump off (ninja roll out of this) • Safety vault over the medium beam
• Bat hang/crawl underneath the beam
• Forward roll down wedge to safety position (on the floor)
• Forward rolls down the trampoline
• Sumo jumps on the trampoline, but you have to be very
careful and watch them!
• Fwd. roll off the trampoline onto wedge mat to the safety position
• Sidekicks! Have them kick a barrel over!
