JLBC Cadet Corps Warrior Competition Code of Conduct

JLBC Cadet Corps Warrior Competition Code of Conduct

The JLBC Cadet Corps Warrior Competition is an esteemed event that requires the utmost conduct and decorum from all participants. To ensure this, the JLBC Cadet Corps has established a Code of Conduct that encapsulates the spirit of respect, integrity, fairness, and sportsmanship. All cadets are expected to strictly abide by this Code, which guides honorable behavior throughout the competition.

Personal Conduct

Each cadet must uphold the highest standards of personal behavior, respecting all competitors, officials, and spectators. Disrespect, foul language, aggression, or misconduct will not be tolerated. This extends to all forms of communication, including social media.

Fair Competition

Fairness and integrity are at the heart of the Warrior Competition. All cadets must compete honorably without engaging in cheating, deception, or unsportsmanlike behavior. This includes respecting officials' decisions and accepting outcomes graciously, regardless of personal feelings or sentiments.

Respect for Rules and Regulations

Understanding and abiding by all competition rules and regulations is mandatory for every participant. Ignorance or misunderstanding of the rules is not an excuse for violating them.

Fitness and Wellbeing

Physical fitness, as is mental and emotional well-being, is a prerequisite for participation. Cadets are expected to take care of their health, avoid unnecessary risks that might lead to injury, and approach the competition with a positive, resilient mindset. Any form of drug abuse, alcohol consumption, or performance-enhancing substances is strictly prohibited.

Accountability and Reporting

Any person subject to this Code of Conduct may be reported for misconduct verbally or in writing. All accusations must be reported promptly, and verbal reports must be followed up with a written statement within 24 hours. The information should include:

  • The identities of all parties involved.

  • A clear and concise description of the incident.

  • The date and signature of the reporting party.

The JLBC Cadet Corps CEO will review the report and inform the accused party of the alleged violation, who has the right to provide a written explanation within a reasonable timeframe. Any misconduct will be addressed and corrected as deemed fit by the CEO, ranging from oral or written counseling to disqualification from the competition.

Each cadet is a competitor and a guardian of these values, and their adherence to this Code of Conduct ensures that the Warrior Competition remains a proud and esteemed event.
