JLBC CADET CORPS: Survival
Creating a design means having the discipline to set up a daily routine and stick to it. It also is a method to break down huge, seemingly insurmountable tasks like getting rescued into bite-sized pieces. One of the techniques some people use to push themselves way beyond their 'natural' give-up point is by using mantras. You repeat these short, positive sayings to yourself continuously while pushing through difficulty and pain. Endurance athletes often use this technique to go farther and faster. The military, and JLBC Cadet Corps, use a similar technique with Jodies while on unit runs. In a survival situation,
repeating your mantra can help you get past a difficult situation. A few examples of survival
