Here are some definitions of Management:

Leadership is the art of empowering a group of individuals to act toward achieving a mutual goal. (Ward, 2019)

Efforts to direct resources (financial, material, human, intellectual, and intangible) to assist in accomplishing the mission objective and advancement of the organization. (US Army (FM 22-103)

Providing Direction and controlling a group of one or more entities or individuals to coordinate and harmonize that group towards achieving a common goal. (Diffen.com: Kate T., 2019)

Achieving goals that make the best use of all resources.

Management is a system with a social element. It generally requires the efficient use of materials combined with the guidance of individuals in order to reach a specific organizational objective. It involves achieving the objectives and fulfilling specific organizational purposes through economic and effective planning and regulation. It is about taking the initiative and ensuring focus is placed on the aspects and things of the business that help achieve the goals and the vision. (Anastasia, 2017)
