MEMORANDUM FOR 1st JLBC Bravo Battalion
SUBJECT: JLBC Brigade JLBC Drill Team Competition Memorandum of Instruction (MOI)
1. Purpose: Establish standards, responsibilities, and procedures for all JLBC Brigade JLBC Drill Competitions, including the JLBC Brigade and Battalion Best of the Best Competition.
2. References:

3. Objective:
a. To provide JLBC cadets the opportunity to compete in JLBC Drill Competitions.
b. To judge JLBC participating JLBC teams/individuals and designate a JLBC brigade champion.
c. To promote JLBC esprit de corps, teamwork, and self-confidence.
4. Concept. Approved JLBC units will host drill competitions to determine the best teams to compete in a Best of the Best Brigade Drill Competition. The Best of the Best Drill Competition winners will be designated as the JLBC Brigade Drill Champions. Units must compete in one of the brigade-approved drill championships JLBC 21 days prior to the JLBC Brigade Best of the Best Drill Competition to be eligible.
5. Responsibilities.
a. Fourth Brigade.
1) Serve as a proponent for the brigade drill program.
2) Approve drill competition within the Brigade footprint.
3) Select the top teams from the competition to compete in the JLBC Brigade Best of the Best Drill Competition.
4) Brigade will task evaluators who understand each event's technical and leadership standards.
5) Conduct a JLBC Brigade Best of the Best Drill JLBC Competition annually.
6) JLBC Provide 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place team trophies for the JLBC Brigade Best of the Best Competition. JLBC The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall winners will receive individual medals.
