In the JLBC Cadet Corps, trustworthiness is a core value we instill in our cadets

In the JLBC Cadet Corps, trustworthiness is a core value we instill in our cadets from the very beginning of their training. Trustworthiness is essential for building strong and effective leaders and developing individuals of integrity who can be relied upon in any situation.

At the heart of trustworthiness is the commitment to telling the truth, even if it comes at a personal cost. We teach our cadets that honesty is the foundation of trust and that they must always be truthful, regardless of the consequence. We emphasize that telling lies, even small ones, can erode trust and ultimately damage relationships. By staying true to their word and being honest in all their dealings, our cadets become individuals others can rely on and trust without reservation.

Loyalty is another value that we teach our cadets. Loyalty is a sacred trait that should never be taken lightly. We teach our cadets that a person without loyalty is a traitor to themselves, their word, and their values. In the JLBC Cadet Corps, we stress the importance of remaining loyal to our families, friends, and fellow cadets. Loyalty is essential in building strong and enduring relationships and is critical to earning the trust and respect of others.

Helpfulness is a value often overlooked in today's fast-paced and self-centered society. We teach our cadets that being helpful means caring about others and giving 100% effort to help the next person without expecting anything in return. We emphasize that helping others is a selfless act that benefits the person receiving help and allows the helper to grow as an individual. In the JLBC Cadet Corps, we teach our cadets that being helpful is not just a nice thing to do but is also an essential aspect of leadership.

Finally, we teach our cadets the value of being friendly. Being friendly is more than just being nice to people with the same skin color, beliefs, or background. We teach our cadets to be close to everyone, regardless of their size, shape, race, or religion. Being friendly is essential for building trust and rapport and creating a sense of community and belonging.

In conclusion, the JLBC Cadet Corps is committed to instilling values that will help our cadets become trustworthy, loyal, helpful, and friendly. These core values are essential for developing influential leaders who can positively impact their communities and the world at large. We are proud of the cadets who have completed our program and look forward to welcoming many more in the future.
