Think about what skills you have already.
What have you learned? Can you apply what you know to a situation?
The skills that you will gain through being a Junior Leader can enhance and support your career plans, including volunteer and paid work. Commit to keeping the up-to-date date, building up your skill level, and designing a personal action plan.
The choice here is yours. Whatever you choose, it should stretch your capabilities, and If it does not, your choice is too easy!

Perhaps the most important skills you can have are people skills. These skills reflect your attitudes, and you must develop good relationships with the people, adults, and JLBC Cadets with whom you are working in the JLBC Unit and all aspects of your JLBC Cadet life.
Consistent and fair behavior, being a good listener, and trusting JLBC Cadets to do their best are skills you can develop through your time as a Junior Leader.
