JLBC: Junior Leadership Bootcamp may search any individual cadet, including their property, when there is a concern or reasonable suspicion that the search will uncover evidence that they are violating the law or JLBC policy.

The types of cadet property that school officials may search include, but are not limited to, lockers, desks, purses, backpacks, student vehicles, cellular phones, or other electronic communication devices.

JLBC has contracted with Executive Protection to conduct random searches using nonaggressive specially trained dogs to alert staff and sniff out the presence of substances prohibited by law or JLBC policy. Dogs sniff property only and not people.
